4th Birthday

"H" has had a fun birthday week! Thursday- her actual Birthday, her pre-school had a field trip to Mother Natures Farm. She was Birthday girl all day and was lovin it!

Next day... princess tea party with a few friends. My mom was so nice to bring her miniature dinnerware. We had miniature snacks and ate our mac & cheese with toothpicks and acted like little ladies. It was so cute! They even got their fingernails painted. Then we danced to the princess songs, opened presents and said goodbye. It was the easiest party I have ever put on! They were all so calm and sweet. I love 4 year olds!!!

Would you be afraid?

At the zoo last week, we were checking out the tiger. We were the only ones at the exhibit, and this tiger looked like he was going to pounce. It was kinda freaky! "Let's move along kids" But I had to get some pictures.

First, he was just walking along yawning and what not...

Then, he started watching us...


Then he jumped up in the tree...

Then he looked like this for a while. That's when I said...Ummm let's go kids.

I wouldn't have thought anything of it except for that story about a tiger at some zoo jumping over the fence and killing someone. I'm not so sure anymore.

All pooped out! This might have been the last night of 3. We were all limping back to the car.
S and T's favorite ride back there. Who'd-a-thought! We figured we'd be riding Dumbo and Merry-go-round all day.

We usually don't take the time to wait in line for pictures with the characters, but since there were no lines, we jumped on the opportunity.
H was blissfully happy everyday we were there. She didn't mind that she sat in the stroller most of the day while we took turns riding rides. She just loved being there. And soaked up the moments when we would see a Princess, or some other familiar character.

Even big sisters can be nice in a place such as this. :)

The Beach

T's favorite thing to do at the beach is look for crabs in the rocks. He'll spend and hour at least searching for animal life.

Okay, just kidding, Lori you asked for it. Here we are the last night with Lori and Trevor. Yes, it was late and yes we were slap-happy. Steve thought it was cool that we could take our picture through a mirror.

And there's the ghost of Trevor. This just goes to show you, nothing good comes from being up late. It sure was fun at the time though :)

After a few weeks of school, we were ready for a break! J/k, that's just a good time to go to Disneyland. No one is there and you can ride the rides with no wait. I will never go when it's crowded again! Anyway, we stayed close and were able to enjoy 3 long days at Disneyland and California Adventures. I'm thinking in the future, 2 days is long enough.

My sista Lori of course met us there 2 out of 3 days. She's so dang lucky to live there! It was so nice to have her there. She would take H. and her daughter on rides so Steve and I could take our big kids on the big rides. Our kids have finally graduated to big-kid-dom. S went on every ride there was- even the Screamer 12 times, and the Tower of Terror. Trevor paid T $20 to try the screamer and he loved it and went again. It's so fun now to have my kids with me riding all the rides! I've always loved roller coasters! Here's a picture of T right before getting on the Screamer for the first time. He's so brave! Catching up... this is so lame that it's almost 3 months later and I'm just getting to this. Here is S and T's first day of school. They are loving school this year.
